A total of about 270 incidents of misdiagnosis are registered at the hospital each year. When comparing male and female patients, female patients experience the highest rate of misdiagnosis. Incorrect diagnoses are made in 40% of all cases involving female patients over the age of 40 years (Khullar & Jena, 2016). It will prompt management to retrain nurses and other healthcare professionals on the anticipated level of quality of treatment (Newman-Toker et al., 2019). It will also increase the number of patients seen each day as a result of the technology. As a result, patients will be pleased to know that they will be treated in the proper manner, utilizing cutting-edge technology and systems. The cost of therapy is also expected to decrease as a result of the reduction in the number of cases of misdiagnosis.
