For thisassessmentyou will need to:
• Design a STEM project for pre-schoolers, which includes the following information
o A statementof the topic area to be explored in the project and a short rationale of the STEM project based learning (PBL) approach.
o A list of the STEM concepts, processes and milestones relevanttothe project.
o Identify the expected learning outcomes for the project.
o Outline four (4) possible learning experiences (provocations) which can be implemented across science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
o Describe the resources and materials required for the project.
o Explain the relevant teaching strategies and propose four (4) intentional questions that will facilitatesustained thinkingand engagement.
o Describe howyou will organise the learning environment for this project.
o Explain howthe projectwill be documented, ensuringchildrensvoice, participation and learningisvisible.
o Explain howyou will assess childrens learning and achievements throughout the project.

o A list of STEM concepts, methods, and project milestones that are pertinent to the project.
o Determine the project’s expected learning outcomes.
o Create a list of four (4) possible learning experiences (provocations) that can be used in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
o Describe the project’s resources and materials requirements.
o Describe the appropriate teaching practices and offer four (4) intentional questions that will help students think and engage for longer periods of time.
o Describe how you will set up the project’s learning environment.
o Describe how the project will be documented, with a focus on the children’s voices, participation, and learning.
o Describe how you will evaluate the children’s progress and accomplishments during the project.
