Teamwork and collaboration are essential.

There are three outstanding characteristics of the team that have been selected for evaluation. The first is that team members possess the necessary abilities to achieve the goals of the group. Another example is when a team is under pressure to perform satisfactorily (Northouse, 2019). The final point is that the team leader creates a conducive environment for members to discuss the team’s success (Northouse, 2019). Apart from that, the three points listed above are important since, in order for a team to flourish, both the team leader and its members must put up their best efforts. In order for members to be able to work properly, the team leader must create a positive environment that is free of dictatorship.

Furthermore, there are two parts of the team that are lacking. The first is that the team is provided with the resources it requires to complete its work (Northouse, 2019). Another example is that team members have faith in one another to share information and feedback. The two characteristics are discovered to be incorrect, and as a result, the entire performance is hampered. Additionally, the two factors are weak because there is no project that can be completed without the availability of resources such as money. In a similar vein, if team associates do not trust one another, there will be divisiveness on the team.

There are four observations that I would like to communicate with my team regarding the strengths, shortcomings, and changes that can be expected from team members. The first is that, as a team leader, I am pleased to know that members are under increased pressure to perform better than they did previously. Similarly, I am satisfied because each colleague possesses the ability to contribute to the achievement of the overall team’s aim. Nonetheless, I am concerned about the limited resources available to the team, which is sponsored by the government. As a result, I will speak with management in order to rectify the situation. In conclusion, the change I would like to see from my associates is that they would learn to trust one another and work together as a team since unity breeds strength.
