The Effect of the Global Spread of English on the United مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arab Emirates Identity?
The paper will provide the relevant arguments that the effect of global spread of English does not affect the UAE identity. First, many people in the UAE countries do not speak the English language. The people in UAE appreciate their indigenous مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic language. In spite of the arguments that English could unify the difficult communities in UAE, the natives enjoy using the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic languages (UAE interact, 2014). The situations make it difficult for English to affects their identity. The use of the native languages starts from the childhood, in which the children are talk on how to use the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic languages. The people in the UAE countries love their indigenous cultures and religions (Findlow, 2000). This makes it challenge to alter their identity, as the traditions and values are taught in their daily lives in the society. In comparison with other communities across the world, the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabs are usually obsessed and strict on their traditions and values (Clarke, 2008). Since, most of the people use their native languages in offices and public places for official communication. Therefore, the global effect from the adoption of English would not affect the UAE identity, as the natives appreciate their local languages and traditions.
In addition, the global effect of spread of English cannot affects UAE identity due to the nature of the political systems. In the UAE countries, the politicians are the most influential persons in the country. According to Issa and Dahan (2011), the political structures support the use of the native language in any situations. The effect of languages relates to the policy made by the government on the use of English in certain occasions. However, the political systems are of traditional approach of leadership. The traditional approach of leadership promotes the use of the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic language in all occasions (Maddens, 2014). Nevertheless, English can be use in some occasions, but it is not adequate to overcome the influence of the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic language. The use of the مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic languages among the political structures makes it more dormant (Issa, & Dahan, 2011). This offsets the influence of English in UAE limiting his influence over its identity. The leaders advocate the use of the native language as it enhances their loyalty of their country. Considering the political support on the native language, the effect of global spread of English does not alters their identity.
In conclusion, in spite of the increased spread on English in UAE, it does not guarantee is major influence in country due to the strong cultures and religious beliefs. The cultural and religious aspects are usually tied to the native languages. Most of the people in UAE are strong Islamists (Findlow, 2000). This creates a strong implications that it would be difficult for the wide spread English to erode the UAE identity. Throughout the lives of the Islamist, they have strong attachment towards their religion (Dahan, 2012). The Islamic religion advocates for the use of مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic language, as their formal and basic language. According to Clarke (2008), the declaration of English as an official language could alter the use of the native language. However, the people are conservative to their cultures and religious. The Android phones developed apps that uses both مساعدة التعيين – خدمة كتابة المقالات من قبل كبار الكتاب العرب, Arabic and English languages. As a result, the effect of global spread of English cannot dilute the UAE identity completely.
