You will input your thesis statement from the previous assignment (possibly improved based on feedback from your teacher) as Roman numeral I. Next, you will show your three main arguments as II, III, and IV; these are the arguments you are making to support the overall argument put forth in your thesis. They should be examples relating to your theme, spanning three different time periods. In your research paper, you will need to provide specific, researched evidence about your chosen theme (conquest, slavery, science and technology, the arts, or religion) to support your argument. For this outline assignment, show notes and citations for your proof as the “Examples” or “Evidence.” The final section, V, is for your conclusion. Here you pull together your information and illustrate how your argument provides insight into world history.
