WSUB 102-Autobiography Assignment
The college experience is one of the most desired experiences by the public. It is known to give a different identity to students from advancing education level and interacting with a variety of age-mates in the institution. However, college is not all that great as it appears to be. There are higher chances of students sinking and losing their key focus on education as they get exposed to other negatively influential students. Colleges are known for their significant admission of hundreds and thousands of students based high school performance. This multitude, entail different types of people inclusive of crooks and ill-minded individuals.
As for me, I was well prepared in maintaining focus on my education. My focus was facilitated by the constant advice provided by my parents. They always discussed the importance of education, relating that they would have been in better jobs if they possessed education in their youth age. Also, their efforts in keeping me in school further instilled my primary focus on education to make them proud. However, my primary goal is to be career based not necessarily job. I prefer to use my career to help the troubled youth who have undergone the path that I went through. It is another reason as that created my future interest in joining college.
College education exposes a broad range of subjects which help in building a solid rounded knowledge base. This means I will be highly competitive when seeking job opportunity. Besides the attainment of employment, the pay will be much higher. With that in mind, I will have to indulge myself in learning anything new from both friends and professors at the college.
Gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality recognition are the main areas of importance for my attitude toward my learning aspect. Nationality means the existence of different cultures. My knowledge about the various types of arts which comes from the different state students interactions, as well as common knowledge will aid my future success in the job environment. Religion aspect brings in the religious difference where people believe their religion is more legit than others. However, it is the best advice to out rule racism on religion and maintains strong belief on the chosen religion for personal confidence building. Lastly but not least Gender factor recognition, especially on equality, is significant in the maintenance of a healthy environment in institutions. Everybody in the world will have a fairer view of the third sex. We are all human beings, born of parents and we have the right to live, to enjoy happiness, in whatever way we feel most comfortable. That’s a gender attitude toward my learning.
