Bribery is defined as an act of offering one money, goods, or a form of compensation in the interest of the giver with the aim of altering the recipient’s behavior. The gift might be a genuine breach of expert and business moral, an infringement of law associated with business conduct (Smith, 2014). The act may regard the business conducted between the two as dishonest since the gifts can be considered as an act of Bill purchasing Joe’s support. Some of the traits of the virtue ethics include honesty, which in the case study is not attained by both ill and Joe considering their business relationship.
