Lighthouses and beacons are essential navigational aids for maritime safety and environmental protection. They provide guidance, warning, and information to vessels sailing in the Gulf of Suez, a strategic waterway that connects the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. The Gulf of Suez is one of the busiest shipping routes in the world, with more than 20,000 vessels passing through it annually.
