Overview:
All communities are affected by fire at some point. The impact of fire can be financially
devastating, psychologically traumatic, and sometimes fatal. This assignment shows
that fire is a national problem that impacts individuals locally.
Instructions:
• Assignment help – Discuss the role of a Fire Investigator.
o What are their roles and responsibilities?
o When a fire investigator is a public employee, what are their main
objectives when conducting a cause and origin investigation?
o When a fire investigator works for a private insurance company, how are
their priorities different?
o Are there ethical concerns or conflicts of interest that can arrive when
conducting private investigation for a specific client?
• Research a significant fire that happened in your hometown or nearby
