It is about some finance in privately held firms case study, there’s no hard core technical problem, but a basic understanding about finance / corporate finance would be nice

Analyze the assigned New York Times case, and augmented by topics in class and case discussions, describe how control, growth, and liquidity influenced decision-making along the way in the company’s history, and ultimately shaped the firm’s evolution to where it was at the time the case was written. Where possible, add your own insights and observations. Consider the situation posed in the case. What do you feel is the appropriate next step, and why? Include appendices

Most of slides talked about cases that you might never heard of. It is OK. I only sent you Kohler and Spyder cases, the contents are similar. Kohler is the one that make most sense because we spent most of our time on it.

If you see NashEngineering, VetInsurance and Maveron, Sam Steinberg, just quickly go thru them. I did not send you those three cases.
