The budget narrative of the World Health Organization will justify how a particular item will meet the deliverables of the organization. First, the salary must be properly budgeted for. Directors of the programs offered by WHO will always be hiring, training, and supervising employees. The director’s salary alone will approximately add up to 77000 dollars and will be covered for his contract years. The program coordinator will always spend their time offering services to the works. Therefore, his annual salary will be approximately 53000 dollars. Other employees, including managers, coordinators, casual employees, will earn an annual salary of 100000 dollars. For the development of staff: the staff worldwide will use one million dollars for their training and development. The agency will provide 500000 dollars for travel purposes. The employees will be needed to travel from one WHO organization to another within the country or from one country to another. The travel funds will also be used to fuel the employees’ vehicles. The agency will use two million dollars to purchase equipment its staff will require (computers, vehicles, and other equipment). For every WHO camp, 100 d9llars will be used to purchase a first aid kit to be used in case of a medical emergency. Then it will require about 1300 dollars for postage, including mailing, the announcement of programs, flyer postage, and fiscal reports.
Sustainability Plan
By the end of 2030, when the funding is exhausted, WHO will have strengthened the treatment and prevention of drug abuse, which comprise of dangerous alcohol use and narcotic drugs. By that same year, WHO will have reduced deaths that can be prevented from children below five and newborns. WHO agencies in every nation aim at minimizing newborn deaths to below 1.2%, and the deaths of children below the age of five will be reduced to below 2.5%
