Buymore is still a small organization operating in the brick and motor business specifically specializing in designing and manufacture of clothing, shoes and handbags. The designer clothing and accessories at Buymore are discounted for both genders. Currently the store operations are sustained by only five employees with two of them being fulfill-time while the other three operate on part time basis. At the moment, the company’s greatest challenge is the accessibility of its products mainly because Buymore has a very simple and basic website promoting just a few items. Moreover, despite these items being listed on the company’s website, customers can only purchase them directly from the store with no online transactions. However, with most of Buymore’s competitors adopting online retail, the company has been struggling to match the competition in the market. To overcome these challenges, Buymore intends to shift to online retail with the intention of increasing its presence online by adopting an e-business model.
To overcome these challenges, Buymore should adopt two technologies namely wireless, mobile computing or mobile commerce and combine it with business analytics and business intelligence solutions. By adopting mobile commerce, it will enhance flexibility in the marketing of goods and services for the company because it can be done from mobile and hand held devices like smartphones. Mobile computing software involves connecting different computer systems together for the purpose of sharing information, with this often being done over the internet. The interaction of mobile deices and computers with the internet provide a good platform for e-commerce which is what Buymore should adopt to overcome its marketing challenges. In addition, incorporating business analytics and business intelligence solutions software to its operations will help Buymore improve the efficiency and viability of its business operations. Through business intelligence software, Buymore will be able to amass and access huge data in regards to its operations and overall market demands while business analytics will assist in analyze this data and have a clear picture of any developing trends in the market. Having these two software in place should help Buymore overcome its current challenges and increase its competiveness in the marketplace.

The business objective of this project is integrating a new technology to b sued for e-commerce purposes by Buymore. Undertaking these measures will improve the company’s presence online and relationship with its customers. Moreover, one of the needs satisfied by the new technology will be the ease of communication. With all the employee contact information compiled in the system, the managers can communicate work programs to their junior staff members more conveniently. Given the fact that these changes will involve the handling of confidential customer information online, enhancing its security and privacy will be very crucial (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2017). As such, Buymore should only seek the services of vendors who are wiling to meet these conditions.
Adopting business analytics and business intelligence solutions will help the company improve the record keeping in different departments. For instance, Buymore will be able to keep track of records such as documents like tax records and insurance policies for the members of staff. Moreover, adopting this technology will help the company monitor the its sales records such as the items with the highest and least demand across different market segments, which will be useful in determining which products to increase or decrease their production. In addition, the performance is the organization can improve because of the data analysis tools. The manager is able to see the performance of employees on various tasks. Special advice and training to such employees in the specified areas helps them to improve in the future. As a consequence, Buymore will improve its overall operations and reduce wastage, a factor that will lead to it being more profitable.

The technology is not highly demanding of the organization. The only devices needed are computers. The software is available on the cloud and the users can access from the devices (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2017). The organization also needs to install an internet connection to facilitate the software. The management and then staff members also need some form of training to guide them on how to utilize the software.
