Emirati’s Private Schools over Public Schools
Amity lnternational is a private school and operates differently from Abdelkader Algerian School, which is public school. These schools have different physical spaces and different actors who influence their performance and productivity. Gupta and Ferguson (1992) explains the significant of having a comprehensive thick description to understand the differences between the schools and why most people will chose private schools over the public schools. The evaluation of the spaces of the schools is appropriate in understanding the nature of the education.
The organization of spaces in private and public schools is quite different. ln the private schools, the space is much larger and the administrators of the institutions are keen on providing quality education and comfort to the students. The private school has spacious classes that help to accommodate different forms of class sessions including art classes. On the other hand, the public schools have minimal spaces, which are often congested with many students than the available space. The private schools make effort to admit few spaces that will fit into the available space. The building structure of the private schools is big and has designed with quality architecture to market the school. Public schools are comprised of basic building structure with minimal architectural designs. The layout of the spaces is limited and often the class sessions are congested leading to poor student performance (Narayan, 1993). The spaces in the schools are valued in the UAE to symbolize the values of the society.
The UAE government has been effort to provide additional buildings for public schools to improve performance of the students. The schools have both visible and invisible actors who influence the operations of the schools. The government is the main actor for the public schools. The government is involved in the provision of funding and staffing for the public schools. On the other hand, the private schools rely on the owners of the schools to provide funding. The owners are the core actors in the private schools as they provide funding to ensure the schools run effectively. The private schools are comprised of foreign actors who support the development projects.
Even more students enrolled in the private schools are foreign nationals.

Even more students enrolled in the private schools are foreign nationals. The public schools boosts of local students because the schools have limited resources (Gupta & Ferguson, 1992). The government also seeks to provide fundamental education rather than personal development goals at the private schools.
The influence and contribution of the actors makes the private schools much better than public schools in the UAE.

ln terms of purpose, there is a small difference between the private and public schools. After visiting class sessions at the public school, they focus on provision of fundamental education. This core education is important in the development of children into adults.
The children are required to wear school uniforms that identify them with other students.

The children are required to wear school uniforms that identify them with other students. Religious values are upheld in the public schools. Government relies on the spaces in the schools to encourage most students into joining school to improve the literacy levels in the society. ln contrast, the class sessions of private schools might have the same guidelines and values. The private sector school focuses on providing education as well and providing additional courses and programs for career progression and development (Narayan, 1993). The owners of private schools uses the spaces available to ensure the entity generate significant profits for the investors.
Considering the presence of foreign nationals, the religious values are not strictly enforced compared to the public schools. The incorporation of religious values is a critical concept that helps to understand the UAE society. The interaction of the schools is possible through sharing of religious events and programs.
