The dissemination of EBP results serves multiple important roles. Sharing results makes the case for your decisions. It also adds to the body of knowledge, which creates opportunities for future practitioners. By presenting results, you also become an advocate for EBP, creating a culture within your organization or beyond that informs, educates, and promotes the effective use of EBP.

To Prepare:

Review the final PowerPoint presentation you submitted in Module 5, and make any necessary changes based on the feedback you have received and on lessons you have learned throughout the course.
Consider the best method of disseminating the results of your presentation to an audience.

Create a 5-minute, 5- to 6-slide narrated PowerPoint presentation of your Evidence-Based Project.

Be sure to incorporate any feedback or changes from your presentation submission in Module 5.

The evidence-based tasks were important to enhancing the level of knowledge in nursing. However, during the previous task, I received feedback that there is a need to provide a specific technology that would enhance the work environment. The technology would help in monitoring the level of satisfaction of nurses while carrying out tasks (Jarosinski, Seldomridge & Reid, 2017). One of the crucial tools is using biometric data to measure the time nurses reported and left for work. If nurses reported early and left on time, it would show the nurses are satisfied with their work. If the nurses reported late frequently it would indicate there is a problem that should be solved.
The lessons in the evidence-based approaches are used to improve the level of knowledge. I have learned that there is a need to develop an evidence-based approach in identifying ideas for different problems (Graystone, 2018). The healthcare systems require different technologies to improve their work environment and enhance the satisfaction of nurses. Nurses can undermine the quality of healthcare if they are not satisfied with the work environment. All problems should be solved immediately they appear to prevent deterioration of the issue. Patient outcomes are determined by the approach of a health facility to solve different problems which are inherent in medical practice.
The nursing field requires a credible method of disseminating knowledge due to the recipients who should acquire the knowledge (Timmins, 2015). The best disseminating method is the use of journals. The journals are used to publish peer-reviewed articles and research findings thus eliminating the possibility of bias. Before the articles are published they are scrutinized by different professionals who evaluate their effectiveness (Timmins, 2015). Journals are respected in the nursing field to present practical ideas that are applicable to medical practice. Journals can be used by other scholars as resources to be used in generating knowledge or enhancing the quality of research.
Journals have been used for a long time in the nursing field to present credible results. They are always backed up by evidence to show practical results. Journals are used to publish articles or research findings such as systematic reviews. The systematic reviews present a summary of research which makes them credible. They are used to present the best and current research findings that can be used to enhance patient outcomes (Timmins, 2015). It is used to present results in a theoretical or empirical approach. The theoretical approach is used to critique the existing research findings. The empirical approach is used to illuminate findings in different approaches to enhance research.
The process of carrying out research is essential in the acquisition of knowledge through the feedback provided by peers or professors. The lessons are used to enhance the quality of findings, which is essential in knowledge creation. It is important to select the best dissemination method since it will determine the believability of the results. Journals have been used to present nursing results or articles since they are free from bias. They are used to present current and best methods of practice which are essential for students and healthcare providers. Therefore, it is important to use journals since they will be read by different scholars and other healthcare providers.
