Week 4 ln the current nursing practice, evidence-based practice can be applied to improve the care models for the patients. EBP is useful in the provision of patient-centered care services through the identification, respect, and taking care of the patient’s differences and preferences. For example, the EBP approach promotes working with interdisciplinary teams. This helps to enhance cooperation, collaboration, communication, and the integration of the effective care services amongst the teams. Such effort helps to promote continuous and reliable health care services (Warren, et al., 2016). The application of quality improvement programs is effective to identify the potential errors and hazards in the delivery of quality health care services. lt includes the understanding and implementation of fundamental safety design programs such as standardization, and continually understanding and measuring the quality of health care services. The application of EBP is effective in the utilization of informatics to support communication, management of knowledge, mitigation of potential errors, and supporting effective decision-making.
Cultural and Ethical lnquiry The subject of management of leadership in nursing depends on the ability to understand the core responsibilities and roles of the nurses. Some of the ethical considerations will include whether that the nurse leaders follows the ethical codes of conduct and professional values. Nurse leaders should be honest and responsible in delivering their assigned responsibilities (Grossman & Valiga, 2016). The cultural considerations would include reviewing the multi-cultural needs of the diverse patients and nurses.
To understand the subject, the researchers should response to the following questions: 1. What is the nature of managing leadership in the nursing practice? 1.1What is the role of effective management functions in the nursing discipline?
1.2How can nurse leaders and administrators act to fulfill their respective responsibilities and duties? Some of the challenges in the assignment include the inability to get access to quality information. Most nurses were not ready and willing to give information on the nature of managing leadership into the nursing practice.
