Instructions: It seems almost every day in nursing, one can encounter nutritional issues. As discussed in class throughout the semester, nutritional issues often take a back seat to other medical issues. Healthcare professionals, including nurses, often underestimate the importance of nutrition in promotion and maintenance of health. Before beginning this assignment, read over and reflect on the following: ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, Highlight 21 on ethical issues in nutrition text, biblical scriptures/principles, your own experiences, and in-class discussions. Pray about what topic God would have you write about. Find current 2-3 peer reviewed journal articles on your topic. Reflect also on how this issue can impact your nursing practice as a Christian nurse. You may pick your own topic to write about so long as it integrates your faith, nutrition and ethics. Write a 2-3 page paper (hire research essay pro writers) addressing this topic. Please write in APA format and make sure that you follow the grading rubric. Here are some suggestions to get you thinking (you do not need to pick from this list): • Nutrition “quackery” • Nutrition for underserved communities • Global nutrition • Stopping feedings and or hydration on a terminally ill client • Malnourished patients • People who are homeless, or substance abuse and lack nutrition • Feeding tubes, total parenteral nutrition • Nutrition for comatose or vegetative clients • Governments regulations of food • Genetically modified food If you would like, you can submit your topic to me for guidance, although this is not required.
