Directions
Complete the Cardiology Case Analysis (Links to an external site.). The case requires you to apply your knowledge acquired from your course materials and clinical experience. Recommended resources include your course materials (such as slides and textbooks) as well as UpToDate (Links to an external site.) and the Maryville Library AG-ACNP Recommended Resources page (Links to an external site.).
Please allow adequate time to work through the entire case. It is recommended that you have more than an hour available to work through your first case study. You will need to take notes of the patient case during the audio portions of the presentation.
Submit Part 1 and Part 2 as separate files.
Part 1: Cardiology SOAP Note
Use the Cardiology Case SOAP Note (Word) (Links to an external site.) to complete with the information provided in the interactive case study.
Review the rubric your instructor will use to evaluate your work.
Part 2: Case Analysis
At the end of the Cardiology Case SOAP Note, complete a brief one-to two-page analysis of the case discussing how the patient’s history, risk factors and clinical presentation impacted your medical decision making and development of your management plan for this patient.

Assessment Paragraph
