Simulation training is a method of providing realistic
Simulation training is a method of providing realistic and immersive learning experiences for nursing students. It allows them to practice their clinical skills in a safe and controlled environment, without risking harm to real patients. Simulation training can also enhance the self-confidence of nursing students, which is an important factor for their professional development and performance.
This paper aims to investigate the effect of simulation training on nursing student self-confidence in clinical skills. It will review the literature on the benefits and challenges of simulation training, as well as the theoretical and empirical evidence on the relationship between simulation training and self-confidence. It will also propose a research design and methodology for conducting a quantitative study on this topic, using a pre-test and post-test survey to measure the self-confidence levels of nursing students before and after participating in simulation training.
The paper is organized as follows: Section II provides a background on simulation training and its applications in nursing education. Section III discusses the concept and measurement of self-confidence in clinical skills. Section IV reviews the existing studies on the effect of simulation training on self-confidence. Section V outlines the research design and methodology for the proposed study. Section VI concludes the paper and suggests directions for future research.
