First paper
The article is well-structured in that it contains an introduction, an analysis and a conclusion. In addition, the author highlights what the paper is about. For instance, he indicates that the paper is a briefing statement that will highlight how the CISOs updated communication strategy will change the method in which new, updated, and changed policy issuances are delivered. The paper is also clear. This means that a reader can easily understand what the author is talking about. This is attributable to the fact that it uses simple language. The ideas presented by the authors are logical as well. An effective communication strategy can indeed help reduce the risk of data breaches by clearly defining what employees need to do to prevent such breaches. However, the paper lacks a reference list. Obviously, the author has used in-text references, but has failed to provide a full list of the citations.
Second paper
The article is well-structured. For instance, it contains subheadings; therefore, the reader has a clue on what to expect when reading a certain section of the paper. The author has also provided background information; therefore, the reader has an overview of what the article is about. As such, it highlights Red Clay Renovations Company’s concerns about the rise of potential cyber-attacks on its computer systems. The paper is also informative. It provides a detailed account of the strategy that the company is going to apply to address its cyber-attacks fears. For instance, the author states that the company is going to apply a communication strategy and goes on to indicate how this strategy will assist in solving the cybersecurity issues. However, the paper lacks a reference list. The author has applied the use of in-text references, but failed to provide a list of the references. Therefore, a reader wanting to refer to the original sources cannot.
