Blooms Taxonomy
Blooms Taxonomy Questions are a key part of the tools teachers use in the classroom; however, research has shown if teachers do not plan questions ahead of time, the questions they ask tend to stay on the lower end of Bloom’s Taxonomy which is the indicator of the level of questions to ask to encourage higher levels of critical thinking.
In this assignment, you will choose a book that you would use in a read aloud. Using the Bloom’s Taxonomy chart below for reference, prepare a question (with the answer you are looking for) about the book for each level of Bloom’s . Be sure to label each question with the appropriate level. For this assignment, choose a book that you would read out loud. Using the Bloom’s Taxonomy chart below as a guide, come up with a question about the book (with the answer you want) for each level of Bloom’s. Make sure to put the right level on each question. Total you will be writing six questions with an answer. For example, you will start with Remember and write a question for this category with the answer you are looking for then move on to the next level of Understanding and write a question for that level. You will continue until you have written a question for all six levels.
You need to keep it aligned with the 5t grade Language Arts Lesson plan Information.
