1) Introduction
The minimalist style of Mimbres pottery is unique and makes the pottery understandable and most admirable. The pottery has more minor color patterns, such as white and black, and sometimes brown and red. However, the pottery is known for its elegant geometric patterns and drawings used to pass various messages based on religion and social life, for instance, gender roles, personality traits, individualism, and cooperation. However, defying the meaning of geometric patterns has been very challenging. The paper is a comparative analysis that focuses on finding out whether the potteries pass or convey information concerning the residential group’s identity where the bowls were made from the findings. According to archaeological records, the people who created the member’s pottery are the residents, who have different perspectives. The paper, however, is a test on the hypothesis that the designs on the bowls convey information concerning the people’s identity or symbolized the residents’ identity.
2) Hypothesis and Expectations.
The hypothesis tested is whether the animal and the kill holes are related or represent the residents’ identity and their relation to the cosmological thoughts. Additionally, the hypothesis involves testing whether various Animalia proves factors related to the residence groups, including the Eby and Swarts. Some of the Animalia includes birds, mammals, insects, and reptiles. The hypothesis, however, does not work on meeting the expectation but for testing the relatability with the resident’s identity.
The hypothesis, however, includes whether the kill holes design is a symbol of spirituality and used in the preparation of funerals by the residents. In case the hypothesis is correctly proven, then the design will depict how the kill holes were used, especially in preparation f funerals. Another hypothesis is whether the minority is represented by animals or humans or what spiritual and ethnic significance they have towards the residents’ identity. Some of the expectations include the fact that the Mimbres pottery assists in providing a social significance, showing boundaries, and providing historical context about Mimbres pottery. Kill holes and birds serve as a symbol of spirituality. However, the ceramic bowls with kill holes were made for funeral preparation.

3) Data Recording
The information was collected and coded in the tables in a simple form where the table presents different designs found in various places of residence. The semantic breakdown presents information concerning kill holes because they represent several relativity in identity. The data recorded is from twp groups or variables the Eby, and the Swart , where the information is placed concerning the roles of birds, and reptiles, insects, and birds in residents identity. Reporting is the method used to record information collected from the field into the tables.
4) Data Analysis
Some of the expectations include the fact that the Mimbres pottery assists in providing a social significance, showing boundaries, and providing historical context about Mimbres pottery. Kill holes and birds serve as a symbol of spirituality. The animal depiction provided by swart, and Eby, includes eight animals at swart and seven animals at Eby. On the other hand, six kill-hole were depicted at Eby and eight at swart; hence swart provided a higher number of the kill holes and animals based on table one. The information shows a great significance of the animals and the kill holes in Mimbres pottery, where the symbols and the designs have a great life essence, especially on the people’s identity. However, table one is not enough to show the impacts of the designs and the symbols in different groups’ residential identity.

5) Summary of Results
The findings in table one and table two were somehow significant in providing information from the test on the difference between the Eby and the Swart group. However, the ceramic information was similar for the Eby, Swart concerning birds, and mammals, although the insects and the amphibians were different. The Swart showed more relation of the insects and amphibians to the identity of the residents. Table two, however, represents a striking difference in the information concerning the role of the symbols and designs in identity, although a slight difference of about ten percent. The findings also concluded that the ceramic bowls with kill holes were made for funeral preparation. However, the kill holes are used to release spirits that allow the spirits of the deceased to pass and go away through killing the bowl. However, the bowls with the kill holes tend to be similar to humans, and plants breathe and operate as humans.
On the other hand, the kill holes can pose several dangers to the residents. However, the Animalia and the kill holes represented the archaeological, historical American collection used as a teaching collection. Also, the designs and symbols were traded with the neighboring tribes and used in burials.
The residents made beautiful ceramic designs,a symbols but lived a very hard life, that did not represent the fascinating art. For instance, engagement in hard labor, living in crowded condition,a and isolation, which is represented by animal. On the other hand, the designs represented the social inequality in the mimbre society, where the social inequality increased over time leading to different classes.
6) Conclusion
The testing process was adequate, although very little information was collected from the groups, which calls for more investigation in the future. Additionally, the role of the kill holes and animals in mermaid pottery conveys information concerning the culture and identity 0f the residents. For instance, the kill house provides the spiritual state and importance of burials among the residents. On the other hand, the results of the findings led to more questions and hypotheses that need to be tested, especially on reptiles and amphibians. Future research should focus on improving the research methodology and investigation of the same ceramic industry, which is from the same culture, to develop better assertions on the interconnection between different identities.
