ASSIGNMENT:
**** For multi-media projects, I will give you suggestions on how to polish your
finished product, whether you have produced a work of creative writing,
photographs, an audio piece, or a video — or a combination of all of these.
I will be attaching short media video clips that will need to be incorporated
with capstone project. I will also be attaching (1) interview with a therapist
Q&A and various information to incorporate with paper too. (Interview has
name and date to include in paper)
Also, I will need a PowerPoint presentation with 5 slides. The first slide show
present your big question and thesis. The next three slides should present
your research findings. Your final slide should present your conclusion.
I will be attaching all previous drafts of writings and assignments for this
paper up until now. This is the last part of the capstone where I am stuck on
the thesis and putting all of the information together properly.
Originally, this assignment was going to be something like (ie; Nature vs.
Nurture or How do women become sociopaths) on women sociopaths such
as Jodi Arias, but I have found that there are no set models so I am thinking
the thesis is going to involve the issue of gender and sociopathy as
suggested (maybe a hint) from below message from the professor.
NOTE FROM PROFESSOR:
How interesting that your primary interest is in female psychopaths, but the discussion in
the field of forensic psychology seems primarily focused on the shape or project of the field
of forensic psychology itself. This suggests to me that you have done a good job
expanding your research where you did not find sufficient sources specifically related to
your topic. This also reinforces the wisdom of the approach you suggested in our
synchronous session: interview one or more psychologists for their thoughts on the issue
of gender and sociopathy. You will be expanding the field of research!
