 Developing literature on intelligence-led policing (ILP) and law enforcement fusion centres is helpful. In order for ILP to be successful, the police must reconsider the current policies and protocols (Caputo & McIntyre, 2015).   Intelligence and data-driven policing practices can be enhanced through improved intelligence dissemination from fusion centres.  In result of the attack of 9/11, ILP’s increased among law enforcement in the USA. The importance of fusion centres was to serve as a single point of contact for crimes, terrorist attacks, and threat-related information. Fusion centres can be received, analyzed, and disseminated to improve situational and operational awareness to police departments (Lewandowski, Carter, & Campbell, 2017).
One question that has been a struggle when it comes to policing is if research can help improve democratic policing? Of course, the world was much different than it is now, and will continue to change as years go on. There are different ways to approach the mission of policing and crime prevention in the criminal justice organization.  This article proposes an evidence-based style of policing. Evidence based policing is making decisions about which strategies or practices work best. They want to use targeting methods along with testing and tracking.  They want to know what options are working best and what options should be eliminated.  This way they can use the methods that are working to decrease or eliminate crime and not throw money down the drain on options that are not providing them with satisfactory results. Policing was based off three R’s random patrols, rapid responses, and reactive investigations. The goal of the three R’s was to deter crime but wasn’t effective. That’s when the change to the triple T took place. The triple T are targeting, tracking, and testing. The triple t has moved the police managers into a proactive style of managing and focusing more on what works (Sherman, 2013).
The Judeo-Christian viewpoint focusing on the issue of terrorism has a positive impact on ILP.  The Judeo-Christian view focuses on why terrorist organizations attack the Christian communities. Christians do that the Muslim communities are against Christianity ways The Muslims don’t want Christians to continue to follow their ways, instead they want Christians to abide by Islamic religious ways. This is a violation of the freedom of religion. When dealing with terrorist attacks as they pertain to Christians should be focused on Islamic groups or Muslims. The ILP encourages processes of reform and innovation. It encourages activities that reduce crime in society. Mathew 7:12 states Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets (KJV).
